POLICE and Coast Guard are currently at the scene of an incident on the A259.
Police tape was used to seal the footpath at the edge of a cliff opposite Roedean School in Roedean Way, Brighton.
Rescue teams used climbing gear at the edge of the cliff.
An ambulance is also on the scene.
The exact nature of the incident is unclear.
Sussex Police have been approached for comment.
