Road closures planned in and around Barnet for roadworks UK News

Motorists could face disruption due to the temporary closure of several roads in and around the borough of Barnet, starting tomorrow.

Opinion of the Barnet Council in this week’s edition of Barnet Borough Hours detail the extent of closures and other restrictions that may be required during the execution of the work.

Garratt Road HA8 is due to be closed at its junction with High Street from tomorrow for 17 days for gas connection works.

The alternative route will pass through High Street, Deansbrook Road, Heming Road and vice versa.

Moat Crescent N3 is expected to be closed between #19 and #20 from Monday for 15 days for the installation of new storm drains and connection work to new developments.

Lawrence Street NW7 is scheduled to be closed at its junction with Lawrence Gardens from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for four nights from May 12 for telecommunications infrastructure upgrades.

The diversion will be via Highwood Hill, Marsh Lane, Apex Corner, A1 Watford Way, Mill Hill Circus, Lawrence Street and vice versa.

New Brent Street NW4 is to be closed between North Street and Brent Street for three hours on May 16 for the painting of yellow line road markings.

The alternate route will pass through Brent Street, Foster Street, Foster Walk and vice versa.

Another three-hour closure for the same purpose will temporarily close Eaton Road NW4, also on May 16.
