A fan of a pastry chef, a fan of a one-foot submarine or crazy about McDonald’s? Then you’ll be delighted to learn that you could be paid £1,000 to eat your favorite fast food.

Get paid to eat McDonald’s, Greggs and Subway might seem like the perfect job for some. And now it can, as UK-based marketplace website MaterialsMarket.com is looking to hire a team of six ‘takeout testers’ to determine the best fast food options for traders.

As well as receiving £1,000 for their participation in the month-long role, each meal consumed by successful candidates in the experiment will be paid for. They’ll sample one of the top 20 dishes, as previously voted on by shopkeepers at a range of fast food restaurants across the UK, whether it’s for lunch or dinner.

Meals that will be sampled include a Greggs Sausage and Omelette Breakfast Baguette, a McDonald’s Large Big Mac Meal, and a Subway Meatball Marinara. Throughout the employment period, the successful candidate will be required to keep a diary of how they feel after eating each meal, monitoring their levels of satiety, energy, productivity, sluggishness and overall satisfaction, immediately after consuming the meal and two and four hours later. .

The full analysis will be used to create a guide to the best meals to go for its community of professional and amateur builders. No previous qualifications or experience are required for the position; however, the market has stated that promising candidates must be over the age of 18.

Upon completion of the employment period, the candidate will report all findings to the market who will work with a nutritionist to review the findings. Samuel Hunt, co-founder of MaterialsMarket.com, told the Mirror: “If you walk down to your local Greggs or McDonald’s early in the morning or at lunchtime, it’s very likely you’ll see traders taking their fuel for the day.

“Although fast food has negative connotations, for traders these meals are convenient fuel for them! hearty is a necessity to keep you satiated, satisfied and energized throughout the workday.

“We’re really excited to launch this experiment. As we’ll be working with a nutritionist on the results, we can’t wait to share with our community the best fast food meals to eat at work. You don’t mind getting paid to test some of the UK’s favorite fast food joints, please apply now!”
