The online travel agent knows better than anyone how much we all want a sunny vacation after the past two years.
With this in mind, Loveholidays conducted a survey of 2,000 people to find out what they really wanted from their getaways abroad this year.
Here are some of the top requests travelers are looking to check off their travel bucket list to inspire you in planning your own vacation.

Loveholidays reveals the ultimate travel list for 2022
According to Loveholidays, nearly a quarter of respondents (23%) have created a whole new to-do list as they plan their 2022 getaway.
Meanwhile, 25% said they didn’t create a new bucket list, but added to an existing one.
In the Loveholiday survey, travelers revealed the things they dream of checking off their bucket list this year.
More than half of those surveyed admitted that discovering a new country was high on their to-do list.

It looks like we’re also on the hunt for a bit of luxury with more than a third of travelers wanting to stay in a 5-star hotel this year, making it the second most popular activity on the to-do list. .
36% of respondents dream of having a romantic dinner in a secluded place like on a small island – if money weren’t an issue.

If travelers didn’t have to worry about budget, 35% would love to go stargazing in an exotic destination.

Other items, which we can use to inspire our own travel plans, on Loveholiday’s 2022 bucket list are:
- try a new kitchen
- swim in the sea or ocean
- make friends and meet new people
- have a hotel room with its own outdoor pool
- snorkel over a coral reef
