Andrezej Gutowski, 53, of Pyrland Fields, Taunton, pleaded guilty to charges of, on March 26, 2021 at Stillmans (Somerset) Limited slaughterhouse:
When moving three young dairy cows to a stunning pen, pushing the animals repeatedly with a prod, including into prohibited areas, thereby causing avoidable pain or suffering
Kicking a young dairy cow causing avoidable pain, distress or suffering
Failing to ensure that each animal was moved with care in that he attempted to place a young dairy cow in a beautiful rear-facing pen
Gutowski was fined a total of £2,000 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £190 and £160 in costs.

Dan Iakab, 44, of West Hendford, Yeovil, admitting to breaching a domestic violence protection order. Iakab was fined £50.
Jennifer Martin, 23, of Wickets Beer, East Coker, pleaded guilty to the charge of, on November 19, 2020 at the A30 in East Chinnock, driving at a speed of over 30mph. Martin received three driving points, a fine of £119 and was ordered to pay a victim fine surcharge of £34 and £85 in costs.
Nicholas George Power, 37, of Quantock Road, Taunton, has pleaded not guilty to charges of failing to provide identifying information at the Speed Enforcement Unit, Bristol on December 21, 2020 driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Power was found guilty by the magistrates. Power was banned from holding or obtaining a driving license for six months, fined £180 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and £200 in costs.
Stephen Joe McQueen, 29, of Wheatley Crescent, admitted breaching a domestic violence protection order on October 3, 2022 in Taunton. McQueen was fined £50.
Simon Alister Hebert, 48, of Bow Street, Langport, pleaded guilty to charges of:

Committing two offenses during the operational term of a conditional sentence
A community order was issued and Hebert was fined £480 and awarded total compensation of £200, a victim fine surcharge of £95 and costs of £85.
Linda Louise Waite, 34, of Leycroft Road, Taunton, has pleaded not guilty to the charge of failing to provide identification information to the driver of a vehicle on October 29, 2020 who was allegedly guilty of an offence. Waite was convicted in her absence. Waite received six driving points, a £180 fine and was ordered to pay a £34 victim fine surcharge and £125 costs.
Samuel John Rogers Bishop, 40, of Trevanson Road, Wadebridge, pleaded guilty to the charge of, on April 5, 2021 on the M5, driving at 79mph, speeding over 50mph. Bishop received six driving points, a fine of £1,153 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £85 in costs.
Mark John Ireland, 59, of Half Acre, Williton, has pleaded not guilty to charges of failing to provide driver identification information on July 2, 2021 at Bridgwater Police Station. a vehicle that would have been guilty of an offence. Ireland was found guilty by magistrates. Ireland received six driving points, a fine of £576 and was ordered to pay a victim fine surcharge of £58 and £200 in costs.
Steven John Phillips, 43, of Willoughby Road, Bridgwater, pleaded guilty to the charge of, on May 14, 2021 in West Horrington, Wells, driving at a speed greater than 30 mph. Phillips received six driving points, a fine of £461 and was ordered to pay a victim fine surcharge of £46 and £85 in costs.
