‘Extreme concern’ for 14-year-old missing for seven days as police issue appeal Bath City News

Concern grows for a missing 14-year-old. North West Police have issued a public appeal in an attempt to locate Nasim Sweeting.

Officers say the schoolboy has been missing from his home in Lancashire for seven days. They believe he has links to Somerset and may be in the area.

A statement from Lancashire Police read: “He was last seen at around 2.40pm on May 3 in Ashton-on-Ribble. We are increasingly concerned for his well-being. He is described as 6ft 3in tall with an afro hairstyle.

“He was last seen wearing a black Nike Airforce tracksuit, a beige t-shirt with a tiger print on the front, gray Nike Air 90 sneakers, a gray North face beanie and carrying a white JD Sports drawstring bag. . It has links to Avon and Somerset.”

The police statement adds: “We are extremely concerned about him and urge anyone who has seen him, or knows his whereabouts, to get in touch. We also urge Nasim himself, if he sees this call, to contact us to let us know it is safe.

“Anyone with information should call 101, quoting log 0893 of May 3.”
