Historically, Sheffield has been one of Britain’s luckiest cities to win the jackpot, with at least 70 new millionaires coming forward since 1994.
The best-known winners are the incredibly generous Ray and Barbara Wragg, who took home £7.6million in 2000 and donated over £5million to friends, family and charity.

In March 2018, a syndicate of 19 Sheffield couriers scooped a £228,000 Euromillions jackpot prize, each pocketing £12,000 a piece.
Union leader Craig Davison said at the time the win was “a dream” and thought he was “seeing things” when his numbers came out.
And in 2007, lucky cashier Karen Child, from Derbyshire, cashed in a £8.4million prize, giving her a “dream wedding” that summer.
