A26, A27: All road closures will take place in Sussex this week Brighton News

MOTORISTS will see three national road closures to watch out for this week.

Although there are delays, they shouldn’t last long, with all expected to be under 10 minutes.

The latest list of planned works, with notes from national highways, shows that three closures are due to begin this week:

• A26, from May 16, 8:00 p.m. to May 28, 6:00 a.m.: A27 east and west, Falmer, closure of ramps and lanes for sanitation works, diversion via the municipal network.

• A27, 8 pm 25 May to 6 am 27 May: A27 eastbound, Falmer to Ashcombe, lane closure for test holes.

• A27, 26 May 8pm to 27 May 6am: A27 eastbound, Devils Dyke to Hollingbury, closure of slip road for electrical work, diversion via national motorway network.

National Highways are responsible for maintaining highways and major A-roads across the country, so smaller road closures will not be included in their schedule.
