The M5 has been partially closed near Weston-super-Mare after a collision. The southbound carriageway between Clevedon and Weston-super-Mare is experiencing heavy traffic with one lane closed.
The collision was reported on the INRIX traffic monitoring service around 5:50 p.m. The latest update, at 6.46pm, says three vehicles were involved in the collision and travel time through the scene has now reached half an hour.
The update read: “One lane closed, long delays and queues due to accident, three vehicles involved on the M5 southbound from J20 B3133 Ettlingen Way (Clevedon) to J21 A370 (Weston- super-mare). Travel time is about 30 minutes.”
