“It’s one of my favorite pubs to watch the games in. There’s always a good atmosphere on match days and a good buzz with the supporters of the rival teams. They make perfect food to watch the game in because they have a turkish residence – what could be better than a fancy pint and kebab My business partner lives nearby and is also a Spurs fan so we get the dogs down, and it’s a great place to forget about work and soak up the atmosphere.

“I’m a big Liverpool fan and I watch as much as I can because I spend most of my time in the kitchen. This pub is by the sea and shows all the matches on indoor and outdoor screens. It’s big enough that you usually have a table, but small enough to create atmosphere when the games are in progress. It’s great to leave the pub and have the beach and the sea right in front of you.

“Going to the pub is the quintessential experience, right after the game itself. Being a Newcastle fan and living hundreds of miles from the holy land, there’s no other place for that than the ship. Lagers, bartending banter, all your colleagues and friends cheering and arguing, everyone being a VAR expert. It’s been our go-to place at Marlow for years, and for many more at to come.

“The Black Lion at Trent Vale is a classic and somewhere I have always gone to see Stoke City play. It’s a short walk from my house, no pretense, just a cold pint and a good laugh.

“It’s an amazing pub and has been my favorite for a while now when there’s a game against Liverpool. They also have a great kitchen table, if you’re hungry.

“There are plenty of screens, including a great one outdoors, and that’s where I go with chief friends to watch the big games, although my team Coventry City aren’t on TV much It’s a real local boozer with a great atmosphere, a good mix of fans, and you can see a screen wherever you are.
