“With the shortlist it was about taking this club forward,” Moore said on the club’s YouTube channel. “I thank all the players for their efforts and their contribution to the last campaign, and they accompany our best wishes for the future. They know it, I spoke to them all individually.
“We just have to keep moving forward, and that’s our desire… We can’t look back, we have to look forward, and that’s the clear message.”
He also went on to say, “The new campaign is on the horizon, there’s a lot of work going on, and it’s a bit that a lot of people don’t see, but it’s the most important moment in terms of preparation for the upcoming campaign.
“We have to keep the mix right, get the focus right and keep the momentum going.”
The transfer window opens on June 10, but Moore and his recruitment team are working hard to ensure they can wrap things up before that date arrives.
