‘Queen’ climbs to the top of Brighton’s i360 ahead of the Jubilee Brighton News

SOME familiar faces have taken to the roof of the i360 ahead of Jubilee celebrations across the city.

Staff at the Brighton waterfront monument donned Queen face masks, along with jackets inspired by Her Majesty’s looks through the ages, and climbed onto the attraction’s glass gondola some 450ft above the city.

It comes as the city and country prepare to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, with more than 100 events planned in Brighton and Hove to mark the historic occasion.

Residents are set to enjoy more than 80 street parties across the town, as well as the lighting of a beacon on Hove’s Esplanade and a family picnic in the gardens of the Royal Pavilion.

Visitors to i360 will be able to follow in their footsteps in a new experience – Walk 360, officially launching next month.
