The 23-year-old fishmonger from Brighton teamed up with Chester’s daughter Gemma in Friday’s dramatic first recoupling.
Luca’s decision to choose Gemma has left Swansea paramedic Paige single alongside new London girl Afia.
The couple are now Betfair’s current favorite couple to win the series with the show’s original couple Tasha and Andrew following close behind.
Betfair spokesman Sam Rosbottom said: “Following Friday night’s dramatic re-coupling, Luca Bish and Gemma Owen are now 9/2 favorites to be the winning couple at Love Island, while Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri are 11/2.
Mr Sam Rosbottom added: “Bish’s decision has made Paige Thorne’s single popular, but she is still 5/1 to be the first candidate to leave the villa, with Amber Beckford the 15/8 favorite to follow Liam Llewellyn at the door.”
