Missing Doncaster schoolgirls could be in Scarborough, police say as hunt continues UK News

North Yorkshire Police said they were investigating suggestions the girls, named only Savannah and Ruth, had been at the resort.

The couple, both 14, have not been seen since Wednesday.

Police believe the two 14-year-olds may have traveled to Scarborough.

It is believed the couple may have traveled to Scarborough and may be in the company of an adult.

The couple left their school between 3:15 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Savannah is white and described as being of slim build with very long brown hair and having a fair complexion. She was last seen wearing a school uniform and a quilted coat with fur on the hood. She reportedly carried a black backpack with gold zippers.

Ruth is white and described as 5ft 4in tall, slim build with shoulder length black hair. She was also last seen wearing a school uniform with dark tights and a padded jacket.

However, it is possible that the pair changed into casual wear.
