A WOMAN has been seriously injured in an accident involving two cars.
Emergency services were called to the crash between a white 4×4 and a red saloon car on Newdigate Road in Rusper, near Horsham on June 8.
The woman, who was driving a Fiat 500 hatchback, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in the collision.
She was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton where she remains.
Meanwhile, a 49-year-old man driving a white Range Rover has been taken to hospital in East Surrey with minor injuries.
He has since been released.
Roads Policing Unit (RPU) Constable Paul Waltho said the crash happened around 7.25pm.
“We are calling on all witnesses to this collision to come forward, in particular a group of cyclists who were at the scene immediately after the incident, as we believe they may have information that can help us,” he said. he declares.
“Anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage in the area at this time is also asked to come forward.
