Dacia Duster, Jogger and Sandero adopt the company’s new brand image Car News

Dacia unveiled a subtle styling overhaul of its entire car range, which it called a “new start” for the brand.

The new Dacia Sandero, Dacia Jogger and Dacia Duster looks, available to order from tomorrow (June 16), get a number of changes, the most notable being a new grille design, centered around the new minimalist DC motif of the company.

Dacia has also added its full brand name to the rear and steering wheel of all models, with other changes including a matte gray finish to the roof rails and skid plates where fitted.

The first deliveries are scheduled for the last quarter of 2022.

Current pricing for the Dacia range starts at £13,959 for the Sandero. The price should not change.

The Romanian automaker says the new look is part of a “renewal” for itself, adding: “Dacia has changed everything but remains true to the essence of the brand. Beyond a simple design change , the new identity embodies commitments for the future and is based on the strong values that make Dacia’s success story.

Dacia Product Performance Director Lionel Jaillet said: “Dacia changes with the times, as does its brand image. The fundamentals of each product are also being strengthened to meet the very real expectations of our customers.

“The new visual identity conveys these messages and makes the brand even more attractive. Today is a new start for Dacia.

These changes will be rolled out across the entire four-car range, which includes the Dacia Spring Electric – a compact urban electric vehicle that bosses are “fighting tooth and nail” to bring to the UK.

The new look will also carry over to the production version of the Bigster SUV – a ruggedly styled rival to the Toyota RAV4 – in 2023, and to the next-generation Duster, which is expected to follow about a year later.
