POLICE arrested four boys after a man was assaulted.
The incident is believed to have happened at the junction of Cornwallis Gardens and Braybrooke Road in Hastings around 10.25pm on June 13.
A 30-year-old man was injured in an attack.
Four boys were arrested in connection with the incident, including a 14 and 15 year old from Hastings.
A 14-year-old and a 15-year-old from Battle were also arrested on suspicion of assault.
Two of the four were later arrested for possession of cannabis.
All four boys have been released on bail pending further investigation.
Officers investigating the incident have asked anyone who saw what happened to come forward.
