“We can’t believe the excitement our old dance floor has created!

“We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be selling square pieces of our legendary floor for £10 each (details below on how you can get yours and from where).

Big Fellas at Beastfair announced plans to trash and sell their “legendary” dance floor for £10 each to raise money for the Prince of Wales Hospice.

“We are proud to announce that the money raised will be donated to the Prince of Wales Hospice* in Pontefract through our waste management partners WentValley Skips Limited.

“We have a limited number of flats available, so act quickly and donate to this great cause!”

Big Fellas describes itself as “the best nightclub around” on its social media page – playing Dance, RnB, Hip-Hop, Bassline, Old School, Indie and Party music.

Sharing an image of the original dance floor, the club said: “Here’s the old dance floor before we ripped it up… who wants a sticky piece of history?”

Many people took to social media to tag friends and family asking for a piece of flat.

Gav Moores said, “I’m hoping to get the square with one of my old shoe soles still on.”

Toni Tankard said, “I feel like we should get a piece and frame it just for old times sake.”
