Gemma Owen and Luca Bish have been shaken by new Love Island girl Danica Taylor after making a shock decision during the latest re-coupling.
ITV viewers got their first glimpse of new bombshell Danica on Friday night when she was told she would play a vital role in the impending selection as she would have to choose a boy to mate with. Before Sunday’s episode aired, it was confirmed that a guy had already moved out of the villa following what happened during the re-coupling, leaving Love Island fans to speculate who it was.
Danica kicked things off and gave the re-coupling its most dramatic moment when she announced she would choose Luca, her choice seeing Gemma’s face fall immediately and Luca looking less than thrilled as he kissed Gemma on the cheek before reluctantly taking a seat next to Danica. He then told Ekin-Su that he was “raging” about what had happened, while Tasha quietly questioned Gemma about who she would partner with Luca being “stolen” from her.

In the end, Gemma went back in time to the first week and decided to be in a relationship with Davide again, after saying she thought his personality had ‘come out’. The boy who ended up packing was Remi, but it was the fallout from Danica’s decision that was the main talking point afterwards.
Luca promised Gemma he always wanted to ‘speed up as much time as possible’, assuring Michael Owen’s daughter that Danica ‘wasn’t in the picture’ as Danica said she was ‘going with it. his instincts.”
It looked like it could be worse for Gemma as, in a teaser for the Sunday night show, ITV revealed that Danica and the boy she chose to date had gone on a date, Danica saying, “Honestly, this is probably the second real date I think I’ve been on,” Luca thanking her, before adding, “I’m sure a lot of guys would want to kiss you.”
However, in reality, the conversation was about Luca asking Danica for whatever other boys she had her eye on in the villa, even offering to be her “wingman”.
