A WOMAN has been found dead in one of the city’s parks.

Emergency services were called after the woman was found unconscious in Queen’s Park in West Drive, Brighton last night.

She was pronounced dead at the scene around 10 p.m.

His death is currently considered unexplained.

Police have cordoned off Queen’s Park while investigations continue.

The Argus understands that search parties have now arrived to inspect the park.

The force is also appealing for information about the incident.

A spokesperson said: ‘Emergency services were called after an unconscious woman was found in Queen’s Park, West Drive, Brighton at 9.49pm on Friday June 17.

“She was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene and investigations are ongoing. His death is considered unexplained at this time.
