A27: All road closures are in Sussex this week Brighton News

MOTORISTS in and around Sussex will have four national road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn’t too bad, with both expected to cause only slight delays of less than ten minutes.

The latest list of planned works, with notes from national highways, shows that two closures are due to begin this week:

• A27, 8pm June 20 to 6am June 21, slight delays (less than ten minutes): A27 westbound, Hollingbury to Devils Dyke, lane closures for electrical work.

• A27, from 8 p.m. on June 20 to 6 a.m. on June 25, slight delays (less than ten minutes): A27 eastbound and westbound, Falmer, closure of ramp and lane for sanitation works, diversion via the national road network.

National Highways are responsible for the maintenance of highways and major A-roads, so smaller road closures will not be included in their schedule.
