With nearly 40 years at the helm of Look North, these images from our archive showcase the various presenters he’s worked with and the accolades he’s earned along the way.
But, flipping through the archives for pictures of Harry after his untimely death, there are plenty of photos of the man taking time out to help raise money for good causes.
His friends and colleagues described him as an ‘outstanding broadcaster and proud Yorkshireman’ and these pictures sum it up perfectly.
