Moth has transformed an old-school ice-cream van into a bright yellow cocktail serving machine and will be bringing back “1979 all-inclusive-holiday nostalgia” in celebration of its latest serve, the pina colada.
The pina colada van will park beneath the Brighton i360 from September 1 to 3.
Cocktails will be served from the van from noon to 9pm Friday through to Sunday.
“Grab your fish and chips, take in the seaside views and enjoy a pina or two on the beach, as you sing along to the famous song about pina coladas playing from the speakers,” a spokesman said.
“Moth is British through and through. The founders are British, the spirits are British and the drinks are even canned here in Britain. Great British cocktails for a Great British summer. The pina colada (200ml) ten per cent ABV is silky sweet and swanky.
“Think pink skies in Puerto Rico. Cheeky with a cherry on top. It’s singing that song from 1979 – if you like? Made with Duppy Share Rum.”
