The weather warning issued this afternoon comes as disruption is expect from the thunder and lightning throughout the morning.
The Met Office has warned that driving conditions and disruption to train services may be caused by the thunderstorms during the five-hour period.
A spokesman for the Met Office said: “Thunderstorms on Thursday morning may cause some localised disruption.

“There is a good chance driving conditions will be affected by spray, standing water and/or hail, leading to longer journey times by car and bus.
“There is a small chance of flooding of a few homes and businesses, leading to some damage to buildings or structures.”
The yellow weather warning is forecast to last between 7am in the morning and 12pm on Thursday.
The weather warning covers the entirety of Sussex as well as the south east of the country including parts of Hampshire and Kent.
