Person hit by train between Eastbourne and Lewes Brighton News

Trains cannot run between Lewes and Eastbourne following the incident this afternoon.

A Southern Rail spokesman said disruption is expected to continue until 4pm.

The A27 at Folkington is partially blocked due to the emergency services dealing with the incident.

“It is with great sadness that we report a person has been hit by a train between Lewes and Eastbourne,” the spokesman said.
