there is always a danger when people engage in direct action that the ensuing debate will focus on their methods rather than on the issues they seek to raise.
I am not proposing to do this. Instead of worrying about a few broken windows that HSBC can easily afford to replace, I’ll take a look at why a group of women from Extinction Rebellion and the Burning Pink political party felt they needed to act.
