Calderdale and Bradford: 29 men charged with alleged sexual exploitation of children of female victim | UK News

Twenty-nine men have been charged with crimes of child sexual exploitation against a girl since the age of 13.

The suspects – aged 35 to 64 – face charges including rape, attempted rape, indecent assault and conspiracy to rape between 2003 and 2010.

West Yorkshire Police said the crimes were committed when the victim was aged 13 to 20.

A force spokesperson said: “The vast majority of infractions took place in Calderdale, but some infractions took place in the Bradford District.

“The men were charged with various sexual offenses following a non-recent child sexual exploitation investigation.”

Those charged will appear at the Bradford Magistrates’ Court on July 7 and 9.

Eight people arrested during the investigation were released without charge.

The accused are:

• Asad Ali, 37, from Brighouse, charged with two counts of rape

• Ajmal Aziz, 39, of Halifax, charged with three counts of rape and attempted rape

• Mohammed Jangier, 44, of Halifax, charged with rape

• Mohammed Asif, 36, of Halifax, charged with two counts of rape

• Harris Ahmed Butt, 37, of Halifax, charged with two counts of rape and two counts of indecent assault

• Taukeer Butt, 36, of Halifax, charged with three counts of rape

• Muitasim Khan, 40, of Halifax, charged with rape

• Mohammed Hamza, 47, of Halifax, charged with rape

• Mohsin Mir, 40, of Halifax, charged with three counts of rape

• Javid Mir, 38, of Halifax, charged with rape

• Haroon Saddique, 37, of Bradford, charged with two counts of rape

• Zahir Iqbal, 41, of Halifax, charged with two counts of rape

• Sarfraz Rabnawaz, 35, of Bradford, charged with two counts of rape

• Wajid Addalat, 43, of Halifax, charged with rape
