The Serious Fraud Office has announced an investigation into Sanjeev Gupta’s GFG alliance and its funding deals with Greensill Capital.
The SFO said it was “investigating suspicions of fraud, fraudulent transactions and money laundering in connection with the financing and conduct of business of the companies of the Gupta Family Group Alliance (GFG), including its agreements financing with Greensill Capital “.
“As this is a live survey, the OFS cannot provide any further comment,” he added.
