The Crown has won 24 Emmy nominations, as British talent shines at television awards.
the Netflix show has obtained several nominations in the main Emmy categories – for Best Drama, stars Olivia Colman and Emma Corrin for Best Actress in a Drama, and Josh O’Connor for Best Actor in a Drama.
Emerald Fennell, Helena Bonham-Carter and Gillian Anderson also received nods in the Supporting Actress category for their appearances in the show, with Tobias Menzies nominated for Supporting Actor, while Claire Foy and Charles Dance were honored for their guest roles in the royal drama.

It will go against the raunchy Netflix show Bridgerton for the coveted trophy for best drama, while Rege-Jean Page is in the category of best dramatic actor.
Elsewhere in the best drama category are The Boys, The Handmaid’s Tale, This Is Us, Pose, Lovecraft Country, and The Mandalorian.
Meanwhile, Michaela coel‘s I May Destroy You has also garnered several nominations, including for Best Limited Series and Best Actress in a Limited Series, as well as recognition for her writing and directing.

Other recognized British talents included Ewan McGregor, for Halston, Paul Bettany, for WandaVision, as well as Juno Temple, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, Nick Mohammed and Jeremy Swift in the football comedy Ted Lasso – who won 20 appointments.
The Mandalorian, a Star Wars spin-off on Disney+ about a bounty hunter, also won 24 award nominations, which is equal to The Crown.
