Laughs and taunts can be heard as the family are assisted by rescue services in a large boat after the driver of a silver 4×4 attempted to drive through a heavily flooded underpass in Worcester Park in the southwest from London. The footage comes as a deluge engulfed London and parts of southern England that saw 51 ml of rain in just three hours in parts of London.
An orange rescue boat can be seen tending to the family as a rescue team pulls passengers from the submerged vehicle one by one.
A crowd gathers on a nearby trail as they film the rescue efforts with a number of people commenting on why the driver tried to cross in the first place.
Rescue teams can be seen removing around three people, at least one of whom appears to be a small child.
With each person rescued, the crowd sends cheers and laughs as people continue to laugh at the situation they watch unfold.

And then out of the blue, a man bursts out laughing as he appears to be mocking the family while walking through the water with a pair of rubber boots on.
He is seen gesturing towards family and rescuers as he crosses the flood on foot.
The man emerges on the other side of the bridge totally soaked before removing his shirt and swinging it around his head.
The footage comes amid a deluge of rain that caused flash flooding at tube stations and on London’s roads on Sunday.

The public continued to post photographs of the flooding on social media, which depicted remarkable scenes of extreme weather conditions.
But despite torrents of rain in the south, the weather was calmer on Monday with highs of 26 ° C in some areas, according to BBC Weather.
However, a new rain front is expected to arrive late Monday evening which will bring rain for the remainder of the week.
The weather front arriving off the Atlantic Ocean west of England will see heavy rain overnight and through Tuesday as the forecast is expected to change dramatically with more rain expected to hit the UK for next week.
