David Brown Automotive has previewed a new special edition of its Mini Remastered, in conjunction with sound specialists Marshall Amplification, ahead of a full reveal next week.
A photo of the car’s side profile was posted on the company’s website, revealing a black paint finish with gold striping along the wheelbase and at the bottom of the roof, as well as gold trim on the part. outer rims and a Marshall logo on the door.
Other teaser images show more golden details, inspired by the colors of guitar amps produced by Marshall. A gold mesh grille is visible on the outside, while play, pause and fast forward/reverse symbols have been etched into the accelerator, brake and clutch pedals respectively.
A gold control panel in the center console features amp-style knobs, while a full-size guitar amp appears to have been integrated inside. Gold stitching is strewn throughout and the Marshall logo appears on the seats.
Each Mini Remastered Marshall Edition will include a “completely upgraded” speaker system alongside other audio gear developed by Marshall. The car will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the British audio brand.
No technical details have been revealed, but like all David Brown Minis, the car will be rebuilt using an original Mini, with only the engine, gearbox and VIN number taken from the original. donor car.
