Queen’s Platinum Jubilee: wave a flag and leave a message on our unique card UK News

This summer, the nation will come together to celebrate that Her Majesty The Queen has become the first-ever British monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee.

Since the start of her reign on February 6, 1952, Queen Elizabeth II has touched the lives of countless people across the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth with her proud and dignified leadership that has led the nation through good times and bad. times.

Throughout these seven decades on the throne, Her Majesty has taken steps to modernize the monarchy, bring stability and represent national pride at home and around the world.

Even before becoming queen, Elizabeth boosted the nation’s morale during World War II, serving in the Auxiliary Territorial Service and doing radio broadcasts.

To mark Her Majesty’s 70 years on the throne, we’re giving you the opportunity to ‘wave a flag’ for the Queen, leave messages of greetings and share your memories of meeting her.

For this special occasion, we have put together an interactive map of the country on which all your flags and messages will appear. Just visit thequeengoesplatinum.co.uk, enter the first part of your postcode and, if you wish, leave a message.

The map also features dozens of photos from the Queen’s visits across the country over the decades to go.

After a turbulent few years, by “waving a flag” on the map, you can show how we can come together as a country and come together to celebrate a remarkable figure who has resolutely accumulated 70 incredible years of service and acted as a proud symbol of what makes our nation so special.

Visit thequeengoesplatinum.co.uk now to wave your flag!

Warning: Messages are moderated before publication so there may be a delay in their appearance on the map
