BAFTA TV Awards LIVE: Winners and results as It’s A Sin leads nominations UK News

A who’s who of British television gathers in London on Sunday night for the 2022 BAFTA Television Awards, with hit drama It’s A Sin leading with 11 nominations.

It has been three years since a full audience was allowed in to the annual event, due to restrictions imposed in response to the coronavirus pandemic. But after a room full of A-listers reunited with the cinematic equivalent earlier this year, the televised BAFTAs return to their climax on Sunday night. Actors, presenters, directors and producers flock to London’s Royal Festival Hall as envelopes are opened in a host of categories.

The BAFTA TV Awards nominees were announced in March and It’s A Sin, Channel 4’s massively poignant and hugely successful drama has landed on most shortlists, with fierce competition for numerous awards from other dramas to hits like Stephen, Help and Time.
