A total of 10 crews are present as of 6:30 am.
The abandoned three-story building sits in the middle of an industrial estate on the outskirts of the city center.
A statement from the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said half the building had been affected by the fire. Three large aircraft are being used to fight the fire.
It read: “Bradford Appliances, Shipley, Cleckheaton, Fairweather Green, Stanningley, Bingley, Dewsbury, Cookridge, Illingworth, Leeds Air and Dewsbury Support, Pontefract Command and Support Unit, Normanton CU Assistants, Hose Layer and Support of Mirfield, Ilkley Welfare.
“The officers also assisted in various roles.”
