Child rescue alert issued for 14-year-old girl who went missing three days ago in County Louth | UK News

A child rescue alert has been issued for a 14-year-old girl who went missing three days ago in County Louth, Republic of Ireland.

Police said in a statement they were concerned about Svetlana Murphy, who was last seen leaving her home in Blackrock on April 19 at 4 p.m. with 18-year-old Nojus Maculevicius in a silver Hyundai Veloster .

The couple were seen in the Newry at around 7pm on Monday and police believe the car was seen in the greater Belfast area on April 21.

There is an “immediate and serious risk to Svetlana’s health or well-being,” An Garda Síochána said.

Ms. Murphy is described as 5 feet 1 inch with a slender build and has brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing navy blue sweatpants with a red and white stripe down the leg, a black zip top and black shoes when she disappeared.

Mr. Maculevicius is described as being 6 feet tall with a slender build, dark brown hair and is clean shaven. He was wearing dark gray Snickers work pants, a black Snickers top and possibly wearing a khaki green hoodie and black boots from Adidas running shoes.

Police urged those who see the couple not to approach them, but to immediately call 999 or 112.
