Star Boot Sale: Brian May’s amp and Noel Gallagher’s trainers go under the hammer for Teenage Cancer Trust | Ents & Arts News

Celebrities such as Brian May, Beyoncé, Noel Gallagher and Sir Cliff Richard have donated items for auction to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Queen Guitarist Brian may donated a signed amplifier for the auction, as well as a bag handed over and signed by Beyonce and the rest of Destiny’s Child.

Line Of Duty star Vicky McClure donated a dress, while WHO, of which singer Roger Daltrey is a longtime supporter of the association, donated a signed box of baked beans.

McClure said, “I am such a proud ambassador for Teenage Cancer Trust that when I heard about the Star Boots sale I was more than happy to donate.

“The dress I donated is the only one Kate Fleming has ever worn in Line Of Duty, when she received an award at the end of series three, so it’s a real part of the series’ legacy. . “

She added: “The nurses and youth teams of the Teenage Cancer Trust are absolute heroes and have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic to support young people with cancer.

“But everything the charity does depends on their ability to raise money, so take part in auctions and submit auctions so they can continue to do a great job.

Daltrey said: “Young people with cancer are particularly at risk from the coronavirus.
