There have been no more deaths from Covid-19 in Yorkshire hospitals, according to the latest daily update.
Figures released by NHS England show that six deaths were recorded in the country’s hospitals between 24 hours and 4 pm on Sunday, April 25.
The deaths were recorded between April 23.
The time taken to receive positive results is one of the potential factors in the delay between the time a death occurs and its registration.
As of April 28, 2020, NHS England and NHS Improvement also began reporting the number of patient deaths in which there has not been a positive Covid-19 test result, but is documented as a direct or underlying cause of death in the death certification process.
Figures from the latest reporting period show that there was one such death in England.
