Two men and a woman have died after a car crashed into a roundabout in Liverpool.
Police were called to the city’s Knotty Ash neighborhood at 12:15 p.m. on Monday following reports of a collision.
Upon arrival, they discovered that a BMW had crashed into the roundabout that connects East Prescot Road, Eaton Road and Blackmoor Drive, Merseyside Police said.
A woman in their twenties, a man in their twenties and another in their thirties were taken to hospital by ambulance but died soon after.
Their families have been informed and an investigation has been opened, the force said.
Detectives have closed the roads and are looking through CCTV footage and forensic evidence from the scene.
They ask anyone with information to come forward.
