Residents are urged to be careful and continue to follow advice on hands, face, space and fresh air this holiday weekend, following an increase in Covid-19 cases in the borough of Bedford.

Vicky Head, director of public health for Bedford Borough Council, said: ‘In the Borough of Bedford and the country in general, people have gone to incredible lengths to slow the spread of the virus and protect our communities from the lockdown. earlier this year slowing down easing restrictions that got us to this point.
