Black Panther is the next Avenger to reunite in Madame Tussauds following the waxwork unveiling at the iconic London location.

The King of Wakanda joined the wonder Hall of Heroes at the tourist attraction alongside Captain Marvel and Hulk.

It features a futuristic “vibranium effect”, named after the fictional metal mined in the Secret City, which makes the figure glow when fans touch it.

Arsenal footballer took his children for a visit

The figure was unveiled by Arsenal footballer and Black Panther fan Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who got a glimpse of the statue.

Aubameyang posed as Black Panther Wakanda Forever in 2020 after scoring against Liverpool in tribute to the late actor Chadwick boseman.

Boseman, who played Black Panther, died at the age of 43 last year, after a diagnosis of colon cancer deprived of four years.

Aubameyang said: “People know I’m a huge Black Panther fan and the panther is also an integral part of our national team in Gabon, so I couldn’t say no when Madame Tussauds London asked me to help them. to unveil their new figure.

“I love the way they even light up the vibranium in the costume.

Aubameyang, who visited Madame Tussauds with his wife Alysha and sons Pierre and Curtys, added: “It was great to be able to take my family with me to meet one of my heroes and I hope my fans and their families will be able to make special things memories soon reunited. “
