Fight at Luton Airport: Three in Hospital and 17 Arrested After Dramatic Images Capturing Brawl | UK News

Dramatic footage captured a mass brawl at London Luton Airport – resulting in 17 arrests and several seriously injured.

Bedfordshire Police are investigating the incident and said the fight took place around 8 a.m. on Friday.

The force said 11 of the 17 people arrested have been charged with violent unrest and have been released on bail until an upcoming court hearing.

Video taken during the incident showed punches and kicks as brawlers fought outside closed airport stores.

Travel companions could be heard shouting “stop” and scrambling to get out of the way – with the fight coming to a head in front of Aelia Duty Free.

The violent group climbed onto seats to get closer, with an individual swinging his suitcase over his head as a mode of attack.

An airport spokesperson said: “We are shocked and saddened by this isolated incident. We take a zero tolerance approach to violence and continue to assist the police in their investigations.

“We would like to sincerely apologize to all affected passengers.”

Bedfordshire Police said four people were injured, three of whom were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The force said that of the other people arrested, five were released without further action and one was released on bail.
