Thousands of volunteers will receive a coronavirus booster vaccine in a first global clinical trial in the UK, the Health Secretary said.
The Cov-Boost study will test seven COVID-19[female[feminine vaccines and will be the first to provide data on the impact of a third dose of vaccine.

The study will be conducted by University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust and supported by £ 19.3million in government funding.
Some 2,886 people aged 30 and over will be recruited at 18 NHS sites from London to Glasgow and the first boosters will be administered in early June.
The first results are expected in September.
