Fire at Farley Bank, Hastings: six engines at the scene Brighton News

Firefighters were called to a residential block to fight a blaze.

Six engines were dispatched to the scene at Farley Bank in Hastings.

A pod was used to help put out the flames on the top floor of one of the properties.

East Sussex and the Fire and Rescue Service said: ‘We are currently witnessing a fire at a residential property in Farley Bank, Hastings.

“We have six devices present. All people are counted. Please avoid the area.”

The service said crews are using a specialized breathing kit and two hose reel jets to put out the flames.
