New Touring Superleggera Arese RH95 packs 710bhp Ferrari V8 Car News

Italian coachbuilder Touring Superleggera celebrated its 95th anniversary with the striking Arese RH95, a mid-engined carbon fiber supercar with a 710 horsepower Ferrari V8.

Following in the footsteps of the Aero 3 based on last year’s Ferrari F12, the Arese is the Turin-based firm’s first mid-engined creation. It will debut at the Salon PrivĂ© in London in September.

With a fully bespoke design that sets it apart from the Ferrari F8 Tributo with which it shares its engine, the carbon fiber body Arese would represent the next generation of the Aero lineage of Touring, born in 2012 with the reveal of the Disco. Flying.

Among its defining features are a nostril-style grille and prominent aluminum side section, while scissor-style doors and a prominent (and functional) ridge-style air intake behind the cabin suggest its performance potential.

Indeed, Touring claims a 0-62mph time of 3.0 seconds and a top speed of 211mph, matching almost exactly the F8 Tributo, with which the Arese also shares its dual-clutch automatic gearbox at seven F1 gears.

The undisclosed donor’s chassis has been modified to best suit the new body, and Touring says every completed car will be “thoroughly tested and quality assured” before its owner takes delivery.

The first example is finished in Verde Pino with a Caramel and Cocoa interior, while cars two and three will have orange and blue liveries inspired by Alfa Romeo and Gulf Oil respectively.

Touring plans to manufacture only 18 Areses, and buyers can supply their own donor car. Each takes six months to complete, and prices are available on request.
