A major A road in Weston-super-Mare was closed after a serious collision.
North Somerset Police have confirmed that the A370 is closed at the Hildesheim Bridge.
Agents are on site and detours are in place.
Police urged drivers to take alternative routes.
A force spokesperson tweeted: “The A370 Hildesheim bridge at Weston-super-Mare is currently closed due to a serious collision. Agents are on site and detours are in place.
“Please use alternative routes.”
