Police are looking for a girl, around five years old, seen alone in the streets at midnight wearing a jumpsuit.
Nottinghamshire Police were called at around 11:55 p.m. on Thursday after the girl was seen on Tuxford Road, near Newark Road in the town of Ollerton.
Using drones and sniffer dogs, officers also conducted door-to-door investigations in hopes of locating her.
She is described as white, with short blonde or brown hair down to the shoulders, and wearing a Disney style jumpsuit.
Nottinghamshire Police Inspector Hayley Crawford said: “Reports of this nature are something the force takes very seriously and we have plenty of resources in Ollerton to help with the search.
“It was reported by a member of the public who called the force that the girl was in no way distressed, but it is important that we know that she is safe. Unfortunately, we don’t have too many information or a photo of the girl at this point.
“Also, if your child is this age, local and wearing a Disney-Onesie, please call the force immediately.”
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 citing incident 1032 of June 3, 2021.
