A MERCEDES driver has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and drugs after an accident at an A27 junction.
Sussex Police are calling for witnesses to the two car crash at Patcham, Brighton, this morning.
The silver Mercedes heading south on the A23 crashed with a silver Ford C-Max at the junction with the A27 at around 8:55 a.m.
Minor injuries have been reported and the scene has since been cleaned up.
The Mercedes driver – a 20-year-old man from London – has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and drugs and driving, and remains in detention.
A force spokesperson said: “Anyone who witnessed the crash, or captured it on a dash cam, is urged to send an email to collision.appeal@sussex .pnn.police.uk citing series 343 dated 05/06. ”
