‘A great guy’ and a ‘fantastic funny man’ – more and more tributes are pouring in to the tragic Sheffield motorcyclist UK News

Paul Copsey was riding his motorbike in Ecclesfield when he was involved in a collision with a pickup truck on Tuesday June 8th.

The 52-year-old father of two was taken to hospital where he sadly died the next day.

Paul Copsey, 52, sadly died in a motorcycle accident in Ecclesfield, Sheffield

“Words cannot express how devastated we are. We love Paul and he will be sorely missed, ”they added.

Friends have since paid tribute online, with just one writing: “RIP. Paul was a great guy from D Drill who was always there to help and who will be sorely missed. “

Another person commented: “Fantastic funny man. We will miss you, mate.

A third wrote: “Such a good guy. We will miss it.

And a fourth person added, “So sad to hear this. Rest in peace, mate. We had a great time working together. Fly high. “

Police have called for witnesses to the crash or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident, which occurred at Cross Hill around 3:30 p.m., to get in touch

Officers specifically ask the driver of a small blue hatchback who passed the two involved vehicles just before the collision occurred.
