British Airways plane damaged after tipping over at Heathrow Airport | UK News

A British Airways plane was damaged after collapsing on its nose at Heathrow Airport.

BA said it was a freight aircraft and there were no passengers on board.

A spokesperson said: “A cargo plane was damaged while stationary. As a cargo plane only, there were no passengers on board.

“Safety is always our top priority and we are investigating it.”

The images show the nose of the aircraft on the ground without the nose landing gear supporting it.

Police, fire and ambulance vehicles were also seen around the plane, believed to be a Boeing 787.

The incident does not affect other flights at Heathrow, the UK the busiest airport.
