The weather remains a bit mixed over the next few days, with brighter skies more likely in the north and west.

Before that, a lot of places will be fine tonight, but southern Brittany will be cloudy with some rain.

Elsewhere there will be just a light shower.

Southern and central Britain will see outbreaks of rain moving northward overnight, heavy and possibly thunderstorm in places.

Most of the rain will dissipate later, leaving a few outbreaks of drizzle, but it will be cloudy with scattered fog.

Elsewhere it will be mostly dry, but western Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland can expect some showers.

It will be quite sweet.

Any persistent thunderstorms in the east will dissipate quickly on Sunday morning leaving most areas dry and mostly cloudy, but the northwest parts of Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland will retain some showers.

The southern parts will see some showers developing as the sky begins to clear up.

It will be quite cool, especially near the North Sea coast.

The central parts will clear up in the late afternoon and the Channel counties will see the showers largely disappear.

There will be little change elsewhere.

Southern Britain will be cloudy with further outbreaks of rain on Monday.

Meanwhile, Northern Britain, Northern Ireland and Ireland will be mostly dry with good sunny spells, but the Scottish border counties will be cloudier with some patchy rain.

It will be pretty cool again.
